The techdork outdoorspeople in Seattle are going to flock to this.

Looks good in person, I think I like it more than the first gen, I know I’ll like it more on the road at least. I haven’t seen a 90 up close, but I already know I want that one in Pangea green with the white steelies and retractable fabric roof.

That steering wheel looks like a 3D printed prototype and it really bugs me.

What’s that thing stuck to the side? And why is so much of the rear glass tinted/ blacked out? What’s up with those little squares next to the taillights?
SO MANY QUESTIONS

The lighter color is metal and looks cast not printed.

The side pod is for storage. For when you go overlanding on s afari.
And the black-out glass is to hide all the structural supports. Those rear pillars are massive.
Apparently you can put 120kg on the roof, 300 while parked.

The light color in an otherwise gray interior just screams “we printed this out of whatever filament we had to do a quick fitment test” to me. A more silvery metal like the bumpers or the equipment box on the side would look way better to me.

I think it’s awful, LR is dead, I have more faith in the Bronco.
![]() 06/05/2020 at 16:28 |

It actually might be magnesium. I know the dash support bar is made from it.

This will wipe the Bronco’s face off road.

We don’t know that and it’s hideous.

Love the looks of these, just wouldn’t trust the reliability. Imagine if it was made by Toyota or Honda

What about the squares? Backup lights?

They have gotten loads better than they were. Granted that was a low bar to clear. But I've been here about 6 months and I'm not seeing people coming back constantly after their initial purchase.

I would assume so. I have not driven one yet. I am off on Thursdays and this arrived while I was out. Our other unit sold already, l iterally a single day on the lot.

I love it, but it needs the steel(or steel looking) wheels that the base model has, that and the white roof.
![]() 06/05/2020 at 17:16 |
|
This is the 110. And it’s got some extra equipment to show options. The 90 comes out later. That’s the two-door model you can get with the white steel wheels and white top.
![]() 06/05/2020 at 17:18 |
|
According to the LR website, the base 110 is available with those wheels too.

Once I use my bootstraps, I'd get one in that UN blue with a white top and those white wheels.
![]() 06/05/2020 at 17:26 |

That’d be awesome. I really like the gray-ish green they offer too.
![]() 06/05/2020 at 17:31 |
|
They even offer that color green with a factory satin protective wrap (I guess like a clear-bra).

What’s the old saying? If you want to drive into the toughest, most rugged, most inhospitable territory, drive a Land Rover. If you want to drive in and drive back out, drive a Land Cruiser.

It’s got a very “tonka-toy” interior to it. I would like to test drive one.

Oh get over it. LR is fine these days, and has been since about 2004.

Ha, you pretty much described to a tee the typical lower mainland “new” driver - neglected premium car bought with mysterious likely dirty money by someone swimming in money but has no real job . These will be running red lights left and right, too.
